Have you watched our very own Olga from the DT videos? These videos are so wonderful and deserve to be seen again - this one alone has had 6.6k views!!!
This week we are spotlighting the videos. You will learn a lot and be inspired to use your stash, I promise you!
At the end of the week Olga will have a new video for us!
This is a seasonal make from October 2017 - watch and enjoy.
Lynn here today with a Christmas card for you. I find Christmas cards for men more difficult than other male cards. But I find these Maja Joyous Winterdays papers are just perfect for a not too girly card. Unfortunately the 6x6 pad I used is temporarily out of stock, but it will be back soon.
For a change I cut the star out from the paper and then mounted with foam tape over the snowman paper to give some dimension.
To make Santa a star you need these fab Gummiapan old star dies. I just love the distressed edges and they are perfect to ink around. I used a rose gold ink pad.
Of course you need Santa too and his matching die. I decide to paper piece his hat with a piece of the maja paper then coloured his nose with a promarker. The mini stars are from the Roxstamps nesting square dies and this little star comes with them, I find it so useful for so many makes.
Hello everyone, It's Lou in with a post for you today.
I think I must be a 'feeder' because my last 2 posts for you have had yummy snacks in them but my Little Guy made the most scrummy chocolate rye cookies at the weekend and I couldn't resist showcasing them a little using the fabulous Gummiapan Apple Box die.
All I needed was some orange cardstock ( yup, I'm still in the autumn colours mood!!) to cut out the little box. Then I distress inked all the edges using Walnut stain distress ink.
Once I had inked all the edges and assembled the box, I tied a little bit of twine around it, using the 'handles' to pop it over to keep it in place and tied a lovely bow. I left the ends of the twine nice and long to get that pretty effect on the bow.
Then I tucked some cotton gauze into the box and wrapped a few of my Little Guys cookies in some cellophane and tucked them into the box.
Then it was time to play with the super sweet little Magnolia stamps mini world Medal stamp. It is just so cute! I love it!! I stamped it out and then I used a little freebie heart stamp from Gummiapan and stamped it in the centre of the medal. I coloured it in a lovely orange colour and then I added some glossy accents to it to make it pop!
I took some time fussy cutting it out and then inked its edges to soften the cut lines. I added a little hot glue to the back of it and stuck it over the centre of the bow.
This Apple Box die really does make the sweetest little gift for someone and it's so easy to pop together.
Donna here with another Christmas card that I have made using Maja Design Joyous Winterdays papers. I so love this festive collection from Maja Design.
The pretty lace, and pearl trim along the bottom of my card are from my stash!
Links to the products are in text, and can be found at the end of my post.
I cut the image using Gummiapan stitched rectangles, and matted it onto a larger rectangle using "joyous Winterdays" papers.
I highlighted the shaded areas on the snowman by using glamour dust to give a lovely sparkle.
I used a selection of flowers from my stash! The pine cone is coated with Snow - Tex.
The birdhouse is cut from Magnolia Doohickey Club vol 17, and the snowy branches at the bottom of the birdhouse are cut from Magnolia Vintage Box 6th Edition.
