Book of Spring with Magnolia Part 1 and GIVEAWAY | by Suha
Heya everybody,
Today I have created the basic of the little rhyme book with theme spring. This is part one, which is cutting, stamping, colouring, measuring and assembling. Next time I will add the embellishment. Yes it took a while even it was very much pre-planned.
I used Sofiero Monochromes to create the base and I used Sheena White Stamping Paper 300gsm. I stamped with archival ink black. I coloured with Prismacolor pencils.
(If you want to skip to the giveaway, scroll to the end)
This is cover of the book, as you can see it is plain ready to part 2 where the cover takes the attention with details. The blue and yellow cardstock here are Sofiero Monochromes (you can find the products used at the end of this post.
I wrote the text, so it is original. I printed the texts also on Sheena White Stamping Paper. I had this project in mind for a while but never got the chance to complete it. Here it is then.
Edwin with Sword
After Beach Tilda
Happy Summer Tilda
Gelato Tilda
Denim Tilda
Well, let's flip the pages are read it together then.
Thank you for stopping by and I hope you liked it as much as I enjoyed making it.
See you in part 2.
Cheers
Suha
Here are the products I used:

The book is adorable and such a great idea! So much more personal than a shop bought book, and I am sure it will be treasured. However... I must be the only person in the world who doesn't like Tilda stamps. Don't scream at me yet - let me explain. The actual characters are really sweet, but the fact that they never have a nose and mouth is freaky and somehow CREEPS me out!!! I am always tempted to draw them in when I see these empty little faces. There, I said it. SORRY!!!
ReplyDeleteThis is such a sweet giveaway ☺
ReplyDeleteAnd I love your cards <3
