Laserowe Love Lighthouse | By Nancy

by - June 16, 2018

Hello, friends! It's Nancy back today with a new project share!

Living on the Prairies of Saskatchewan, Canada, I do not have many opportunities to see the ocean. I am a big fan of all things nautical, and love to dream of when I will travel to the coast again. I remember seeing my first lighthouse when I was about 10 years old...several years ago! lol I've loved them ever since! I really enjoyed creating this card, and combining this lovely paper, chipboard, and sentiment!

Of course, the sentiment can apply to us here in Saskatchewan too, as we do have the Sun and the Moon! lol Isn't it a fun stamp? It would work on so many Summer projects, wouldn't it? I stamped it on white cardstock using some red ink. Then cut it out with this wonderful Gummiapan die. I love this set of dies. They can be layered as circles, or they can create wonderful frames, as I did with the red star piece.

The lovely lighthouse chipboard comes in a set of six seashore themed pieces. I coloured it with the same ink that I used to stamp the sentiment, before adhering it in place on the card. Finally, I added some random red pearls from my stash.

If you're lucky enough to live by the ocean, I am very happy for you! For those of us that don't, I wish us sweet dreams! We'll continue to enjoy creating fun nautical projects instead!
