Tilda with Gummiapan Sewing Die Set | By Lynn

by - March 27, 2018

Hi everyone, It's Lynn here with you today and I'm sharing a card made with a few of my passions:- sewing, mini houses and art deco.

I used Galaxy Tilda xoxo - but only the top part of her and she's into sewing now! I coloured her with colour tint pencils and then used a little water to create a faded effect. For the bobbin, needle and the scissors I used the Gummiapan die sewing set. Isn't it just so cute? You can see the scissors on this photo below.

I cut the scissors twice, once from mirri card to make the metal cutting edges. The bobbin I cut from Maja Design - Denim & Friends - Leather. You can also see a little peek of a butterfly from the beautiful 12x12 Maja Vintage Spring basics - 6th May and again on the photo below.

Can you see all the lovely stitching on each of the layers?  I used the beautiful Gummiapan stitches nesting dies. These dies are an inlay die, they do not cut the shape. I used them with a square die cut all from the co-ordinating Maja monochromes 12x12 paper and the Maja 6x6 Celebration paper pad which you can see one of the art deco details from below.

So many lovely details on these papers and fab patterns too.

I couldn't resist sneaking these Gummiapan Houses dies into the bottom corner all cut from more of the Maja papers. I also used the flat sequins over the card. These ones are sold out but you could use the silver ones. The lace, ribbons and pearl flowers are from my own stash. Finishing touch some liquid pearls and white highlighter pen.

Here's a final look at the whole card again. The sentiment die is Gummiapan Text- Happy Birthday High Print.

Thanks for your visit. You can see more of my work on my own blog at Crafty Linby.
