Wedding Album Memories | By Liz

by - May 01, 2018

Hi guys, I got some gorgeous products from Suha at Swedish House Crafts the other day and decided to use some of them for a Wedding Album type thing. It could be used for any other special photos or mementos too. I got the fabulous Postage stamp die by Gummiapan and as well as being great for layering I thought I'd use it as the base for my album. Here I've just shown a few pages, but you could add many more.

I used the gorgeous papers by Pion from the My Dearest Sophia collection. Wow, they are such a good price too, do check them out. I used a die by Roxstamps called Heart Hangers which I've die cut out of some 300gsm card stock and they cut a dream. I've found all the Roxstamps and Gummiapan  dies cut really well. On top of the die I added a handmade flower which I made out of red Foamiran using yet another Gummiapan flower die, all items are listed below.

Did you guess, this is another Gummiapan die? This Wedding die cuts a dream too and I love the style of this so much. You can see more of the flowers were added here and there to keep in with the theme.

This is the first inside page, I cut out an oval shape using yet again a Gummiapan die out of one of the same set of papers. This page is for a handwritten message or text. Under this I cut down a backgrounds heart die by Magnolia and used it on opposite sides of the oval as a little added detail with out too much bulk. This time I used one of my flowers out of a smaller die from the same set and you can get stamens from SHC too.

I have left the next page fairly plain for a photo to be added.

Turning the page I added this adorable chipboard piece to which I have simply added a little colour. Wow have you seen the range of chipboards Suha has in store?!!! they are so on my wish list!!! Lol.
I finished this page off with a Gummiapan stamp (yes they do stamps too) which after stamping I simply cut out the words and fixed onto the page.

I again left the next page fairly plain as you do need somewhere for Photo's in a photo album he he! Again one of my flowers was fixed on to keep in with the theme.

This page I've used a Gummiapan Doodled Heart die which I've cut out twice and only stuck the right hand side edge down. This means the left hand side can help to hold a photo or memento in place.

Last but not least is my final page onto which I made a big pocket using the same paper as the background for tags, mementos or what ever else you could want to pop in as a keepsake. I used the loose hearts from the Magnolia Background die and finished it off with some die cut tags and two more of my Handmade Foamiran flowers.

I hope I've given a little inspiration for you to have a try at one yourself, if you do let me know.
